Search Marketing Specialist - (Mumbai)

We are looking for an SEM enthusiast. You’re entranced by the power of Google and Yahoo over our daily lives – and you’d like to harness some of that power to make a difference to our clients. Come be a search marketing specialist at Pinstorm. You’ll begin your day by understanding the brief and objective for an ad campaign, then think carefully about the target audiences and their likely behaviour patterns. And then use your experience and the training we give you to figure out how search behaviour can be used to deliver on the marketing objectives. You will determine the keywords that will connect consumers to your clients, find the relevant websites to show ads, learn to bid for them , optimise your campaigns and deliver great RoI to our clients. You manage, optimise and troubleshoot campaigns every day. Sometimes it might seem that you’re a one-man (or one-woman) marketing army.

Skills - We're not asking for you to have any fancy qualifications or recommendations. All you need to have is:

• Strong in verbal, numerical and strategic reasoning: if you’re the type who’ll do well at GMAT or CAT, then run away from a boring MBA degree and start managing global brand marketing here from day 1.
• You have a passion for the internet and online marketing – you believe the traditional world of media has played its course and digital is the future.
• You’re keen to grow your career in Mumbai.
• You’re a quick learner – and continuously use your learnings to make each campaign work better than the other
• You have 2 – 4 yrs of hard core SEM experience across brands/clients.

Your task at hand:

• To be able to understand not only your SEM offerings but also understand its impact on other functionalities and clients.
• Developing strategies keeping in line with the bigger picture of the campaign objectives.
• To do all search buying on the team’s campaigns – on a global basis.
• To work closely with partners in your team: Designer, search optimisation specialist, social marketing specialist, analyst, copywriter and designer to create compelling and result-driving communication for clients.
• To have a deep working knowledge of all relevant search engines used in digital marketing campaigns.
• To monitor campaigns and optimise them regularly to improve RoI.
• Sharing campaign learnings with others, mentoring and coaching people and making them SEM experts like you.
